Nigeria's film industry is huge, both in productivity and reach. But how did it get to this stage and what are its origins? Charles Igwe, CEO of Nollywood Global Media Group, explains. What is Nollywood? The term 'Nollywood' was coined by the New York Times journalist Norimitsu Onishi in 2002 when he observed film-making activity in Lagos, Nig
